Rate

Contract:

a) At client location:
   - Contract must be 40 hours a week, 3 months minimum, every 2 weeks pay.
   - Rate:Open (Depend upon the complexity of the design and analysis.)
   - Out of area (North Bay), traveling fee subject to apply.
   - Out of area (The Bay Area), traveling fee and per diem subject to apply.

b) Telecommute:
   - I will be at the client location 40%-60% of the time. Gathering information, verify in put data and design intent, establish design goal, perform the task, give progress report, project dicussion, delivering project, and training.
   - There will be on going communication via email, phone call and face to face meeting. VPN support if applicable.
   - Contract length is open. Term payment 30-40-30 based upon the estimate time form the proposal agreement. Or every 2 weeks payment with each weekly process report via email or in person.
   - Rate: Open (Depend upon the complexity of the design and analysis.)
   - Out of area (North Bay), traveling fee subject to apply.
   - Out of area (The Bay Area), traveling fee and per diem subject to apply.

c) Agreement:
All designs will be dictated by the client requirement and input. I provide tool and vehicle to accomplish the task. I will do my best to make the design intent work according to client wants. I provide mechanical engineering analysis, data acquisition and suggestion to the robust design as well as all the design information which includes, source, model and drawing.

Parametric design are very involve and time consuming to establish robust design. All critical dimensions and parameters will be verified and agreed upon. All parts will be modeled and actual assembly will be generated. Once we have a system designed, changes are easily made. Clients understand how the parametric data work is a must.

Theoretical is good thing to know but reality is not always match. Skills and experiences combine with the practical sense make thing work. Since actual components of the system have tolerances and are not always they said to be (many things can went wong like getting fault input ...etc.) I am not always stand by with theoretical numeric values. I am relied on model analysis using the same data sets as the theoretical input values. I use practical engineering practice and industry standard. I do trust softwear capability. I use common sense with realistic goals to achieve my task. This is my way of successfully accomplishing tasks.

All the result data are generated by either Pro/Engineer. Pro/Mechanica, SolidWorks or Cosmos are legitimate. Giving a wrong initial data can brow things out of proportion. After the project had begun, I am neither responsible to the failure of the design fault nor be accounted by any delay due to the design intent changed, parameter changed, or provide wrong input.

d) Upon delivery
There will be a presentation 30-45 minutes of the project revealing design tasks from the beginning to the end. Training for managing the electronic files. Documentation hand-out includes manufacturing procedure if apreciable, general practice of data and electronic files handeling. Paper documentation is subject to charge if not provide by client.
